Kindred Media is a partnership between Patricia O’Brien and Gabriel Miller, two filmmakers with decades of experience in a variety of media, a passion for telling meaningful stories, and aesthetic sensibilities that allow communications content to become a compelling experience for audiences.

Patricia O’Brien is a successful graphic designer as well as a multi-media producer and documentary filmmaker. Her years as a designer allow her to make moving pictures that apply an artist’s eye to any subject matter. In recent years Patricia has been working on films that deal with subjects that include ecology, social justice, and the nature of our relationship with the spaces we inhabit.

Gabriel Miller has worked in every end of the film production process and as a result produces media which puts each facet of the medium to work toward an overall expressive goal. Gabriel has spent many years doing cinematography or recording sound on productions around the country and the globe, and in these capacities has been able to work with some of the great filmmakers of our time.
